For over 20 years, Professional Design Group has remained dedicated to designing and constructing unique and dynamic outdoor living spaces. Our professional eye for detail and expert craftsmanship are just a few reasons more and more Virginians choose us every day!
Patios and outdoor kitchens are gaining in popularity more and more as time goes on. This year we’ve seen our volume of patio construction increase to 38% of our total workload. We offer a wide variety of patio options, but stamped concrete and manufactured pavers are the most prevalent.
Compliment your outdoor living environment with the architecturally stunning features and maintenance free beauty of hardscaping possibilities. Our selection of styles, colors and patterns are nearly limitless as well as their applications. From patios, pool decks and walkways to porches and driveways, we can design and install any custom combination of concrete and stonework.
We specialize in many applications associated with the concrete industry. We grade, form and pour concrete patios, pool decks, driveways and sidewalks utilizing a standard consistency of 3500 psi unless otherwise specified. We provide the full spectrum of decorative concrete to include stamped, exposed aggregate, or simply broom finished.
We also offer concrete overlays which transform interior and exterior walls into walls of brick or stone. Our concrete installations offer a wide variety of stamp patterns and color options and we diligently work with each client to help choose the best scenario for their individual surroundings.
Featured here is a free-standing stained pergola and swing with a stamped concrete pad beneath. This has proven to be a very useful amenity as a nice location away from the house to entertain. The possibilities are endless for incorporating decorative concrete into most any outdoor project.

We always offer low voltage lighting as an option that most clients choose to include. We install the wiring as the seat wall is being constructed in order to conceal the wire. We space each light 6’ on center throughout the length of the wall which provides a soft, but very adequate lighting.
We’ve found that EP Henry products are in the upper end category and our clients love the rustic texture of the tumbled stone. From retaining walls to garden walls, steps to seating walls, EP Henry offers us the widest selection of wall systems to create that special transition our clients desire.
